2008 MERLIN Project® Forecast Projections

The
2008 Presidential Sweepstakes:
On
the Democratic side, the MERLIN timetraks® give the projected edge
to John Edwards and Barack Obama, even though Hillary Clinton
appears to have opened up a commanding lead. Watch for Edwards and Obama to
prevail in Iowa and possibly in New Hampshire as well, derailing Hillary’s
inevitability mantle. MERLIN does not see her winning the nomination or, if
she’s nominated, the general election. Richardson or Obama could be
tapped for the Democrat’s VP. slot.
Among the Republicans, MERLIN likes Romney and Thompson
with a nod to mavericks Ron Paul and John McCain. Mike
Huckabee’s boomlet is likely to be short-lived although he or McCain may get
a VP nod. Rudy Giuliani’s largely fictitious 9/11 ‘legend’ is likely to
catch up with him.
Then, there’s NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg. If he decides to run as an
independent he won’t enter the race until February or March 2008 at the earliest
and it won’t be just as a spoiler. If he jumps into the fray it will be to win
it all. MERLIN would rate that contest as: advantage Bloomberg! Politically,
2008 could well turn out to be the watershed year Dr. Hart has been
predicting, along with Libertarian Party founder David Nolan, for a
number of years, most recently in May 2006 on the nationally-syndicated ‘Alan
Colmes Show’ on FOX News Radio
Elsewhere in 2008:
The US economy is likely to take further big hits, especially in the
housing and manufacturing sectors leading to palpable recession fears by
the second or third quarter of the year. Both the NYSE and the NASDAQ
show early and high instability and the Chinese stock market may
again be a prominent player as Dr. Hart indicated last year. The absence of a
year-end rally may be a harbinger of things to come.
Complications from global climate change will become much more evident
and ominous in 2008 and further instances of ‘cooking the books’ in that regard
and in a multitude of others, by the current administration, will surface.
Impeachment proceedings, while probably not initiated will be seriously
discussed and considered in light of new administration revelations of
wrongdoing. Vice President Cheney’s continued well-being
and/or professional stature will be in further jeopardy this year and
possibly even that of the President.
Global terrorism
is likely to make a dramatic comeback this year and battlefield losses in
Iraq will again be on the increase. The forgotten war in Afghanistan
and continued instability in ‘nuclear power’ Pakistan will compete with
news from Iraq for our attention and concern. The passing of Ariel Sharon
will likely cause a further political reshuffling among the competing factions
in the government of Israel.

Boston, MA - David Brudnoy, a
Boston talk radio personality for more than a quarter of a century has died.
Paul
Guercio was a frequent guest of David's where he discussed MERLIN on many shows
with his listeners.

Paul Guercio and physicist Dr. George Hart returned as George Noory's exclusive guests this past
Monday morning, February 7th (2005) from 2 to 5 AM on
Coast To
Coast AM Radio, which is heard on more than 500 radio stations across the
country.
They returned to
the show to discuss the Merlin Project®, their forecasting technology
that combines equations derived from celestial phenomena with specific dates,
such as a person's birthdate. The system is based on the idea that time is a
patterned entity which operates in a "seasonal" way on an annual basis (a
concept Guercio said he learned from Lionel Day in the 1960's).
